Joe is a young boy who copes with his mommy, Joanna, in working-class London. Both stay above the dressmaker store of Mr. Kandinsky, that likes to inform Joe stories. When Kandinsky educates Joe that a unicorn can give dreams, the confident boy ends up acquiring an infant goat with one little horn, believing it to be a genuine unicorn. Unflinching by his rough surroundings, Joe approaches to verify that dreams can come true.
