Mairtin O'Carrigan's character, Mrs. Claus, is concerned that her weary, workaholic husband (Tedde Moore) has lost his festive spirit. In the hope of restoring his happiness, she discreetly travels to New York City, where she believes the spirit of Christmas is still alive and well: the city where she first met Nick and fell in love with him. When Rebecca finds herself at a crowded New York restaurant, she meets Joe (Greg Bryk), a loving detective who is concerned about the well-meaning grandma, who is alone and struggling to make ends meet. Joe confesses that he and his wife Lucy (Tricia Helfer) are now in the process of divorcing. Rebecca agrees to work as a temporary nanny for the family until Christmas because she believes Joe is still madly in love with his wife. As a result of curing Joe and Lucy's family, Rebecca demonstrates to Santa that Christmas miracles are still possible and that his job is now more vital than ever! This delights Rebecca.
