The holiday season has arrived. As a young girl and her parents enter the room, she discovers a plethora of toys under the Christmas tree. She immediately discards her old doll and begins playing with her new dolls. But she has a dream that night. Is it all a dream? (IMDb) The soundtrack for the Czech version was entirely instrumental, with no dialogue or sound effects, and no Santa! When MGM released the film in theaters in the United States, they replaced the charming score with an overwrought Hollywood concoction, inserted an American-style Santa Claus into the footage [...], and gave the doll a pip-squeaky voice.
