Attenberg

A prototype factory town by the sea is where Marina, 23 years old, grew up with her architect father. She avoids contact with humans because she finds them odd and repulsive. Instead, she prefers to observe it through the lyrics of Suicide, the mammal films of Sir David Attenborough, and the sexual-education courses she receives from her one friend, Bella, among other things. A stranger arrives in town and challenges her to a game of foosball on her own table, which she accepts. During this time, her father is ritualistically preparing for his departure from the twentieth century, which he believes is "overrated." The wonderful secret of human fauna is investigated by Marina as she is caught between two men and her collaborator, Bella.
