Unexpected complications arise in the life of an idealistic but failing actor when he intervenes to prevent a robbery while dressed in the outfit of Captain Avenger, a superhero figure from the film he has been hired to promote. Eventually, he decides to try his hand at becoming a superhero, only to discover that it is far more difficult and dangerous than he had anticipated.
