The plot centres around a young boxer named Izzy Daniels, who is training to follow in his father's footsteps by winning the Golden Glove Championship. When his buddy, Mary, asks him to fill in for a team member in a Double Dutch event, the young man discovers a previously unknown enthusiasm for jump roping that he had forgotten about.
