Fear, mistrust, and institutionalized police corruption are rampant in Yorkshire in 1974. Eddie Dunford, a rookie journalist, is determined to uncover the truth in an increasingly complicated web of lies and treachery surrounding a series of child abductions. When Clare Kemplay goes missing, Eddie and Barry persuade their editor to let them look into two recent abductions. If Eddie and Barry aren't careful, they'll end up in the hands of a killer who uses intimidation, shocking revelations, and police brutality.
