The Book of Genesis

Genesis is a broad and beautiful look at the beginning of man's connection with God, based on the first book of the Bible. Over the course of a hazardous night, Jochebed (Venus Monique) narrates her kid the narrative of her people while hiding in a shelter to protect him from being murdered. This film addresses the idea that humanity will eventually return to where it all began, but that the journey will be fraught with pain, beauty, and a desperate desire to trust the Creator.
