Three Chaplin silent comedy, "A Dog's Life", "Shoulder Arms" and "The Pilgrim", are combined into one film. New music, narration, and a tiny amount of new linking material are provided by Chaplin. "Shoulder Arms" is now set in a time before the invention of the atom bomb.
