Winged Migration

Jacques Perrin's cameras fly alongside migrating birds such as geese, storks, and cranes. The film begins with spring in North America and the Arctic migration; each species' flight is a community event. It's family time once you've arrived in the Arctic: courting, nests, eggs, fledglings, and first flights. Chicks must flee to the south as soon as possible. Hunting, bad weather, and pollution all have an impact. After then, the cameras are turned off.
