For all of its flaws, the history we've been taught contains a treasure trove of tasty details that have been lost, twisted, disregarded or somehow obscured. "AMERICA: FACTS VS. FICTION," a new series on Military Channel, aims to clear the air. "AMERICA: FACTS VS. FICTION," which is hosted by actor and former Naval officer Jamie Kaler ("My Boys" on TBS), is a wake-up call about the surprising hidden facts behind the most well-known and loved stories from our country's and military's past. It fills in the blanks, debunks the occasional myth, and looks into why we sometimes get our own history, well, a little wrong. In this all-new series, the "story" of America is shown to be just that: a narrative, and one that is far more astounding than we ever imagined.
