Garfunkel and Oates

Garfunkel and Oates stars Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci as both themselves and their musical comedic alter-egos, "Garfunkel and Oates," following the two as they attempt to expand the bounds of their limited popularity. Micucci and Lindhome, both well-known in the improv comedy community, first crossed paths at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. They decided to name their band after "two renowned rock-and-roll second bananas," which are Art Garfunkel and John Oates. Riki and Kate blast taboos and perform tongue-in-cheek songs about their miserable existence as single people in their late 20s in Los Angeles over five bite-sized episodes of their web series.
