Twenty Twelve

John Morton wrote and directed the BBC comedy series Twenty Twelve. The show, which stars Hugh Bonneville, Jessica Hynes, and Amelia Bullmore, is a satirical on-location documentary about the organization of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. It premiered on BBC Four in March 2011 to coincide with the 500-day countdown to the opening ceremony. Twenty Twelve received mostly excellent reviews from critics, and a four-part second series was confirmed on 15 April2011, which began broadcasting on BBC Two on 30 March 2012. On July10,2012, three more episodes of Series 2 began airing. The series' final episode aired on July24,2012, three days before the opening ceremony of the London Olympic Games.
